Shavkat Mirziyoyev signs a decree on carrying out holy month of Ramadan accordingly

On May 1, Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on carrying out the holy month of Ramadan accordingly.

The document notes the special role and importance of this month, which is considered a symbol of kindness, generosity and charity in the spiritual life of our country, further strengthening the good-nature, mutual agreement and social cohesion, respect and reverence for the noble qualities, religious and spiritual values which are inherent of our people.

It is stated that Uzbekistan welcomes the holy month of Ramadan on May 6.

The President has given relevant instructions to state bodies and public structures on organizing and conducting events during Ramadan.

In addition, during Ramadan, special attention will be paid to charity, full support of the people in need of help, landscaping of sacred places, strengthening the atmosphere of kindness and harmony in families and mahallas.
